Gerak News, Jakarta- Bakal Calon Gubernur Nusa Tenggara Timur (NTT) Yohanis Fransiskus Lema atau Ansy Lema menyatakan persoalan NTT saat ini adalah persoalan kemiskinan.
Ansy pun mengungkapkan data Badan Pusat Statistik yang menunjukkan angka kemiskinan di NTT diatas dua digit.
“Pertanyannya adalah siapa yang miskin, mengapa mereka miskin dan tinggal dimana mereka,” ungkap Ansy, baru-baru ini.
Kader PDI Perjuangan itu melanjutkan, NTT membutuhkan pemimpin yang mengetahui akar persoalan penyebab kemiskinan.
Ansy mengungkapkan, bisa disimpulkan bahwa kemiskinan NTT adalah kemiskinan masyarakat desa, yang terutama berprofesi sebagai petani, peternak dan nelayan.
Karena itu, pemimpin NTT kedepan harus punya visi dan orientasi untuk bisa menghasilkan solusi, berpikir besar untuk bisa mengidentifikasi persoalan masyarakat sekaligus bisa mencari solusi dan mengimplementasikannya agar masyarakat NTT keluar dari kemiskinan,” papar Ansy.
Ansy melanjutkan, kemiskinan memiliki implikasi berantai, seperti stunting, putus sekolah, gizi buruk, pengangguran dan sebagainya.
“Karena itu pemimpin NTT kedepan harus pemimpin yang memiliki hati, berani berkorban untuk masyarakat NTT,” ujarnya.
